Needless to say, the club managers play a
crucial role in this process.
Here are the finest Bundesliga managers who
have had a strong start to the season.
Julian Nagelsmann is the current head coach of Bayern Munich and a former player in Germany's professional football league. As a player, he had a string of bad luck and opted to retire at the age of 20 owing to a series of catastrophic injuries.
In the early half of the 2008 season, he began assisting his head coach in Augsburg as a scout. Nagelsmann joined Hoffenheim's development program in 2010 and taught several young teams over the next few years; he was an assistant coach during the 2012–13 season and coached the club's U19 team until February 2016.
He led
Hoffenheim's U19 "junior team" to the U19 Bundesliga title in 2013/14.
He was given the
opportunity to manage Hoffenheim's first team after his success with the club's
development squads.
Finally,
Nagelsmann began his Bundesliga coaching career with Hoffenheim in 2016, at the
age of 28, making him the Bundesliga's youngest coach.
At first, no one
expected him to succeed, and he was mocked by many, but Nagelsmann showed
himself and had a fantastic season with Hoffenheim. During the 2016-17
Bundesliga, Nagelsmann led his side to a fourth-place finish in the table and
Hoffenheim qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time
in their history. Nagelsmann joined RB Leipzig on 21 June 2019; the young
manager had a great performance during his spell at RB Leipzig from 2019 to
2021.
On April 27,
2021, he was named manager of Bayern Munich for a transfer fee of €25 million,
a world record for a manager. Nagelsmann won his first trophy as a coach with
Bayern Munich's 3-1 triumph over Borussia Dortmund in the 2021 DFL-Supercup.
On August 24,
2021, Julian Nagelsmann led Bayern Munich to a 12–0 victory over Bremer SV in the
first round of the DFB-Pokal, which was Bayern's largest win in 24 years.
On 3 October, he
suffered his first defeat with the club, as they lost 2-1 to Eintracht
Frankfurt. Bayern Munich is currently in first place in the Bundesliga
rankings, with 28 points from 11 games.
Nagelsmann is a
German politician. Nagelsmann is currently 34 but the young manager has already
become one of the best managers in the list of Bundesliga managers, and coaches
the best and most decorated club of Germany.
Oliver Glasner is the current manager of Eintracht Frankfurt. He is an Austrian professional football manager and former player.
He is
unquestionably one of the finest coaches in the Bundesliga in 2022.
Glasner resigned
from playing in 2011 and joined the Red Bull Salzburg management team a year
later.
Following a good
tenure with Salzburg, Glasner was named head coach of SV Ried, the club for
which he played from 1995 until 2011.
From 2015 to
2019, he spent four successful seasons with LASK, with the club finishing second
in the league and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League at the end of the
2018-19 season. Glasner was hired to lead VfL Wolfsburg after his success with
LASK, and he entered the list of successful managersOn August 17, 2019,
Glasner's side defeated FC Koln 2-1 in his debut Bundesliga match.
His first
Bundesliga defeat occurred against Borussia Dortmund on November 2nd, when they
were crushed 3-0. Glasner's team finished the season in 7th place in the
Bundesliga table, with 13 wins, 10 draws, and 11 losses in his first season as
manager.
Glasner's final
season with Wolfsburg saw them win 17 games, draw 10 games, and lose 7 games in
the Bundesliga, accumulating 61 points and finishing only four points behind
second-placed RB Leipzig.
Eintracht Frankfurt announced in May 2021 that Oliver Glasner has signed a three-year contract extension until 2024 as manager.
