Inter predicted lineup vs Roma - Serie A

Inzaghi on the touchline

Inter entertain Roma in a hotly-anticipated clash as the Nerazzurri look to continue their recent winning run in Serie A.

After a run of just one victory in their six matches across February, Simone Inzaghi's side have responded with four wins in a row to revive their title bid and seal a place in the Coppa Italia final.

They trail city rivals Milan by two points at the top of Serie A with a game in hand - a trip to Bologna next midweek - and the momentum certainly seems to have returned ahead of the final stretch of fixtures.

Here's how Inter could line up.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Samir Handanovic (GK) - Hasn't been at his best this season, but three clean sheets from his last four games will have done him the world of good.

Milan Skriniar (CB) - Continues to raise the bar for central defenders, offering a steeliness in defence and a gifted touch on the ball.

Stefan de Vrij (CB) - Restored to the starting lineup for the Milan Derby success in midweek.

Alessandro Bastoni (CB) - Deployed centrally in midweek to curb the physical influence of Olivier Giroud.

2. Midfielders

Matteo Darmian (RWB) - Impressed in the win over Milan in midweek, supplying Martinez with a delicious cross inside five minutes.

Nicolo Barella (CM) - Back to his best in recent weeks, providing dynamism from midfield.

Marcelo Brozovic (CM) - Became the 17th different Inter player to score this season with his strike against Spezia last weekend.

Hakan Calhanoglu (CM) - A dead ball specialist, firing to Inter to glory in the Derby d'Italia earlier this month from the penalty spot.

Ivan Perisic (LWB) - The arrival of Robin Gosens has injected a new lease of life into the Croatian.

3. Forwards

Lautaro Martinez (ST) - Powered his side to a Coppa Italia final with a brace in the Milan Derby last time out.

Edin Dzeko (ST) - Going in search of his 14th goal of the Serie A season. Should also provide value defending set pieces.
