Robert Lewandowski's agent confirms forward wants to leave Bayern Munich

Lewa wants to leave

Robert Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich this summer, having not felt 'respected' by the club's board in recent months.

Lewa has been heavily linked with a move to both Barcelona and a number of Premier League clubs in recent months.

90min confirmed last week that Zahavi has been urging Bayern to agree a deal with Barcelona and has already held talks with the Catalan giants to try and facilitate a move. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have all also been advised about Lewandowski's situation, but as it stands, none have taken the matter any further.

Speaking to BILD, Zahavi confirmed that Lewandowski wants to leave and is pushing for a summer transfer.

“He wants to leave this summer, none of us care about the money. The truth is that he hasn't felt respected by the board since a few months now," Zahavi said.

“Bayern lost Robert not only in as a footballer and as a person."

FC Hollywood remain adamant that Lewandowski will not be leaving this summer as he has a contract at the club which runs until June 2023, but Zahavi stated that he doesn't 'recommend'.

“Bayern say he has a contract until 2023? Of course, they can keep Robert for another year, but that’s something I don't recommend."

Prior to Barcelona's final day of the season clash with Villarreal, manager Xavi confirmed that the club were in talks with Lewandowski over a possible move, telling the media, "Yes, Lewandowski is an option.

"He has already said he wants to leave, there are negotiations, but he still has a contract at his club. It won't be easy being Bayern, but it's an option."
