Liverpool will head to Fulham on the opening weekend of the 2022-23 Premier League season as they look to take the title back from Manchester City, who will travel to West Ham in their season opener.

Last season’s title rivals will both head to London, with Jurgen Klopp’s men taking on the Cottagers on Saturday August 6 and Pep Guardiola’s reigning champions facing the Hammers a day later.

Erik ten Hag’s first game in charge of Manchester United will be a home clash with Brighton.

The first Manchester derby is on October 1 at the Etihad Stadium, with the return on January 14 at Old Trafford.

Two weeks after that first clash with United, City head to Anfield on October 15 and, in what could be a key clash in the title race, face the Reds again on April 1.

Nottingham Forest will head to Newcastle on their return to the top flight, while Crystal Palace will host Arsenal in the opening fixture of the new season on Friday August 5.

Tottenham have a home game against Southampton, while Chelsea head to Everton. Leeds will take on Wolves at Elland Road, Leicester host Brentford and Aston Villa head to Bournemouth.
