Italian giants Juventus are reportedly chasing a summer deal for Lucas Moura, with Tottenham already said to have quoted their price for the winger.

The Brazilian featured heavily for Antonio Conte during his first few months in charge in north London. However, Dejan Kulusevski’s arrival on loan from Juventus in January saw him largely relegated to a bench role.

Moura was still a key player for Spurs though. Indeed, he ended up making 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring six times.

Despite that, the flying winger is still said to be one of the players who Tottenham are ready to offload.

Conte is revamping his squad ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League. Croatian wing-back Ivan Perisic has already arrived, along with veteran keeper Fraser Forster, while a deal for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma is rumoured to be close.

But with several names coming in, a number are set to depart – and Moura could be one of them.

The player himself is understood to be happy in north London. However, he could be shipped out to create room for the new arrivals.

And according to CalcioMercatoWeb.it, Juve are weighing up bringing him to Italy.

There were reports last week that Conte was keen on keeping Moura as a more than useful bench option. But that all appears to have changed following interest from Juventus.

Kulusevski impact bad news for Moura

The Italian giants want to strengthen their wide areas this summer. There is, however, no mention of any swap deal involving Kulusevski.

The Swede is on loan until the end of the upcoming campaign, although there are growing rumours that Tottenham are looking to secure a permanent deal for the attacker.

Kulusevksi, along with fellow January signing Rodrigo Bentancur, was outstanding for Spurs as they finished fourth in the table.

And Calcio adds that Juve are hoping to use their good relationship with Tottenham to secure a deal for Moura.

The fee mentioned is around £17.1million (€20m), which would represent a loss of £8m on the player Spurs signed for £25m frim PSG in January 2018.

Overall Moura has a record of 38 goals in 202 appearances for Tottenham. His most memorable outing for the club came when he scored a hat-trick in a Champions League semi-final at Ajax in 2019 to take the club to their first-ever final, which they eventually lost to Liverpool.
