There are still a number of players at Chelsea who’s futures are rather up in the air to say the least.
You can point to players such as Hakim Ziyech, who looks to be attempting to rejoin his former team Ajax, and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is pushing for a loan move before the transfer window closes this summer. There are more names as well.
Sources: Chelsea agree personal terms with Anthony Gordon!
Could Kai Havertz still be one of them? His form so far this season has been terrible, and could that spark a late move away for him?
No, according to Fabrizio Romano writing in his latest Substack column today. He says that he expects Havertz to stay this summer because Thomas Tuchel still rates him highly.
Romano says: “One player I don’t expect to leave Chelsea, however, is Kai Havertz. Tuchel still rates him highly.”
It really is make or break season now though for the German international who has been given the role of leading Chelsea’s line, at least so far he has anyway.
