Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana is doing all that he can to push through his move to Chelsea this summer.
I guess you could say that last week, if the below is true, he has even gone as far as ‘going AWOL’ after failing to turn up to a first team training session. And as a result of this, as per Leicester’s local reporter for The Athletic, Fofana has now been sent to train with the U23’s this week.
Sources: Chelsea already working on signing two new strikers for next summer!
Brendan Rodgers has confirmed a third bid from Chelsea for Wesley Fofana has been rejected. He also said Fofana is training with the U23s after failing to turn up to a training session last week. He wants the situation resolved asap. #LCFC

The definition of forcing through a transfer move this.
As Rodgers has said last night, it is now all about just agreeing the transfer fee now between the two clubs and it really does sound like he now expects this to happen and go through.
“The player [Wesley Fofana] clearly wants to go and it’s about the clubs finding an agreement, and I think once that happens it will be resolved then.”

There was no Fofana either in Leicester’s cup squad last night, following on from him being left out at the weekend as well. Matter of time, surely.
