Barcelona ex-president stopped a woman from ending her life on a bridge

As reported by journalist Sique Rodriguez, former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell helped stop a suicide attempt earlier this year.

The incident is said to have taken place a few months ago on June 23, when the ex-Barça supremo was walking out of a restaurant after having dinner.

It is claimed that Rosell spotted a woman standing on the bridge and stopped her from jumping off the bridge, with help from another person.

While he might be an unpopular figure among fans, the 58-year-old deserves credit for his actions in helping save a life.

The 58-year-old was the president of FC Barcelona for close to four years, having been elected in 2010 and held the post until early January when he was forced to step down amidst corruption allegations in the Neymar transfer deal.

Rosell is currently facing corruption charges for the same and could face a lengthy prison sentence, along with another disgraced ex-Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
