Manchester City have had a transitional few months as the natural lifespan of the team put together by former manager Nick Cushing came to an end and Gareth Taylor oversees the build of a new one.
City lost a number of players out of contract in the summer of 2022, with Georgia Stanway, Caroline Weir and Lucy Bronze all moving on to fresh challenges overseas.
A few others are due to be out of contract at the end of this season, while some of the club’s long-term deals run all the way to 2026.
