Barcelona forward determined to succeed at club amid exit speculations

Raphinha has endured a difficult start to life at Barcelona. After struggling to make a solid impression during the first half of the campaign, the forward has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou.

Arsenal are among the clubs to have shown interest in signing the Brazilian, especially after missing out on him during the summer transfer window.

Barcelona, for their part, have refused to take a proper stance on the matter. But they are aware of the fact that they should not have any difficulty recouping the investment they had made in Raphinha, as the winger still has a lot of clout in England.

However, Raphinha himself has no desire to leave Barcelona, reports Toni Juanmarti (h/t FCB World). It appears the Brazilian is determined to succeed at Camp Nou even after his struggles during the first half of the campaign.

Formerly of Leeds United, Raphinha was regarded as one of the top wingers in the Premier League when he joined Barcelona in the summer of 2022. But the forward has racked up only two goals in 16 league matches and has fallen behind Ousmane Dembele in the pecking order.

Xavi Hernandez has indeed rarely featured Raphinha in the starting lineup and the 26-year-old has become more of an impact player from the bench for the Barcelona coach.

But as we enter the second half of the campaign, Raphinha wants to silence his critics and get back into the groove.

The winger did notably register the assist for Barça’s winner in the recent win against Getafe and is hoping to build on that performance when the Catalans take on Real Sociedad this midweek.

As far as his future is concerned, Raphinha has no desire to leave Barcelona anytime soon as he wishes to succeed at the club.
