Barcelona will lock horns with arch-rivals Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu tomorrow in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
Ahead of the blockbuster encounter, Barça boss Xavi Hernandez has released the squad list that will travel to the Spanish capital for Thursday’s encounter.
The big news is that Barcelona have welcomed Ansu Fati back into the squad after he missed the last game against UD Almeria due to a knee issue.
The young forward returned to team training earlier today and has received the medical green light to be on the trip to Madrid.
The 20-year-old’s return comes as a timely boost as the Blaugrana lost Robert Lewandowski to an injury earlier this week, with the Poland captain joining Pedri and Ousmane Dembele out on the sidelines.
Xavi has also called upon youngsters Angel Alarcon and Estanis Pedrola to the roster, which makes sense considering how depleted the squad is in terms of attacking options ahead of the contest against Real Madrid.
