A Tottenham first-team star who is quitting the club this summer reportedly has two destinations in mind as he ponders his next move.
Spurs are expected to have a healthy number of ins and outs this summer as they prepare to appoint yet another permanent manager after Antonio Conte failed to guide them to any silverware during his short stay at the club.
One of those players who will definitely be moving on at the end of the season is Brazilian winger Lucas Moura.
The 30-year-old will be out of contract in the summer and can join a new club on a free transfer.
However, there have so far been no takers, in terms of Lucas being able to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of England.
And now Brazilian journalist Andre Hernan has provided an update on what the future hold for the pacy attacker.
He states that Lucas is likely to wait until the end of the campaign before looking at any offers. However, there are currently two potential destinations that stand out – the United States and Saudi Arabia.
Lucas ready to take the best offer
Clubs from those countries are known to have shown an interest, while Lucas is happy to move to either.
Hernan adds that the Brazil international’s entourage are aware that this is probably Lucas’ last opportunity to land a big contract. So, with that in mind, they will take their time assessing the options that are on the table.
Brazilian clubs, especially Sao Paulo, are known to have been hopeful of bringing Lucas back to his homeland. However, the player himself is open to other opportunities if they present themselves.
Lucas has scored 38 goals in 218 games in all competitions for Spurs since joining in a £25million deal from PSG in January 2018.
