Barcelona have made it a point of late to look for and sign the best young talents across the globe. This policy has seen them all but complete the signing of Vitor Roque this summer while they were also close to landing Arda Guler, only to see him join Real Madrid.

And, according to reports from Sky Germany (h/t SPORT), the Blaugrana have set their sights on yet another exciting, young talent in the form of Kebir Ali Canpolat of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Aged 16, Canpolat has been making a solid impression with Eintracht Frankfurt’s youth side, having notched up 12 goals and eight assists from 17 appearances for the German outfit’s Under-17 outfit.

The winger has also featured 13 times for the Turkish Under-17 national team, bagging four goals in the process.

The report claims that Canpolat is keen on leaving Eintracht Frankfurt this summer as he does not believe that he will get an opportunity to break into the first-team setup.

As such, a number of top clubs have been put on alert, including Barcelona. But, the Blaugrana will face some serious competition in pursuit of the 16-year-old talent, with several other bigwigs involved in the pursuit.

Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are keen on Canpolat while Inter Milan and Juventus from Serie A are also tracking the German-Turkish attacker. Dutch heavyweights AFC Ajax are also involved in the race.

As iterated earlier, the Blaugrana have all but roped in Roque while also signing Mikayil Faye this summer. More young players arriving is not ruled out and Canpolat could be one of those that join Barcelona, but they must act swiftly given the number of suitors for him.
