Paris Saint-Germain face another tricky domestic test this weekend ahead of the start of their Champions League knockout campaign as they take on Lille at Parc des Princes.

The two sides endured differing fates in the Coupe de France heading into Saturday's clash, with PSG overcoming Ligue 1 high-flyers Brest 3-1 while Lille were beaten 2-1 by a resurgent Lyon.

Nevertheless, a bright run of form from Saturday's visitors has propelled them into fourth spot in the Ligue 1 table and certainly in contention for a Champions League berth. Still, they're some way behind PSG at the summit.

Luis Enrique's side have lost just one domestic fixture all season and are nine points clear of Nice at the top of the table. They were, however, held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture.

Not much has changed on the injury front for PSG since their midweek Coupe de France victory over Brest. Luis Enrique will surely make a couple of alterations to his starting XI, however.

The Spaniard won't be able to call upon the likes of Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes, Milan Skriniar, Layvin Kurzawa and Sergio Rico on Saturday due to various injuries.

Lee Kang-in should be back in the squad after returning from international duty, with Manuel Ugarte and Goncalo Ramos among those that could make the starting XI.

PSG vs Lille score prediction

PSG produced a fairy convincing performance in midweek - even if they were aided by a red card just minutes after Brest had halved their 2-0 deficit. Still, Enrique's side have shown they're capable of controlling bouts through sound build-up play and a coherent press, especially on home soil.

Lille are spritely down the flanks and blessed with an array of playmakers, with their distinct threats manifesting in the reverse fixture. Saturday's visitors were more than good value for their point.

Lille should give PSG some issues in transition, but the control the hosts should be able to enjoy on Saturday renders them favourites.

Prediction: PSG 2-1 Lille
