Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Kingsley Coman: Legend’s $244M salary compared to Al Nassr’s new Bayern signing https://ift.tt/7DdKzb0 As reports claimed Kingsley Coman received a contract boost at Al Nassr compared to his deal at Bayern Munich, comparisons raised with Cristiano Ronaldo's $244M salary.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to begin another season with Al Nassr, and after a disappointing previous campaign, the club has strengthened its squad with several key signings. One of the most notable additions is Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich, with reports claiming the French winger received a significant salary boost, sparking comparisons to Ronaldo’s staggering $244 million deal.

Ronaldo’s new contract not only secures him a record-breaking wage and a shareholder stake in the club but also grants him influence over major decisions at Al Nassr. Beyond changes in the front office, the Portuguese star was instrumental in the appointment of head coach Jorge Jesus and in the arrivals of players such as Joao Felix and Iñigo Martinez.

Coman now joins the growing list of established European stars making the move to Saudi Arabia. According to German outlet Sport BILD, Ronaldo personally pushed for Coman’s signing, praising his quality and making it clear he wanted him at the club, a move that reportedly helped sway the Frenchman to join Al Nassr.

At 29, after spending his entire career in Europe, Coman made the switch for a €30 million fee from Bayern Munich. He is now set to link up with Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and Joao Felix in a star-studded attack as Al Nassr aims for every trophy in the 2025-26 season.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Kingsley Coman’s salaries

Cristiano Ronaldo’s previous contract was already considered one of the most lucrative in sports history. According to TUDN, his new deal with Al Nassr takes it even further, making him the highest-paid athlete in the world with an annual salary of $244.5 million, not including performance-based bonuses or his ownership stake in the club.

Kingsley Coman’s salary, by comparison, is far below Ronaldo’s, though still impressive. After signing a three-year deal through 2028, BILD reported that the French winger will earn a net salary of €20–25 million (between $23M and $29M) per year, well short of Ronaldo’s figure but still elite by global standards.

That gap isn’t expected to bother Coman, who secured a significant raise compared to his previous deal at Bayern Munich. According to BILD, his last contract paid €17 million gross annually, making Al Nassr’s offer a decisive factor in convincing him to join the Saudi project.
