Man Utd 2022-23 Premier League fixtures: Ten Hag starts reign with Old Trafford curtain-raiser

Incoming Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag

Manchester United will face Brighton on the opening day after learning their Premier League fixtures for the 2022-23 season.

The Erik ten Hag era is about to begin at Manchester United. The new manager will be hoping to help the club improve on the sixth-place finish they managed last season.

His reign will begin with a home game at Old Trafford against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday 7th August.

Next up will be an away match against Brentford, before their first big game of the season, at home to Liverpool.

The first Manchester derby of the season will take place at the Etihad Stadium on October 1st, before the return fixture at Old Trafford in January.

United’s last game before the break for the World Cup will be away to Fulham in November. They will return with a home tie against newly promoted Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day.

Over the festive schedule, there will also be games against Wolves and Bournemouth.

Another key fixture to look out for will be their second clash with rivals Liverpool, away at Anfield on March 4th.

Manchester United will close the season out with a game at home to Fulham on May 28th.

All fixture dates are subject to change depending on TV schedules.
